My journey into counselling
My journey into counselling was shaped by both professional training and personal lived experience. Having navigated my own challenges, I understand how overwhelming, isolating, and confusing life can sometimes feel. These experiences have given me a deep sense of empathy and a genuine appreciation for the courage it takes to reach out for support. I became a counsellor because I am passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space where people feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgement. I believe that healing and growth become possible when we have the opportunity to explore our experiences with someone who truly listens. My lived experience, combined with my professional training, allows me to connect with clients in an authentic and meaningful way. I understand that no two people are the same, and I am committed to working alongside each individual to help them better understand themselves, process difficult experiences, and move towards a life that feels more fulfilling and manageable.
"I provide a safe, confidential space in the comfort of your own home through virtual sessions. My counselling style aligns with compassion, congruence, non-judgement, and empathy. I know that counselling is not one size fits all, and I consider each client and their sessions as an individual experience."
